The Rockport, Old Town’s answer to the budget-conscious paddler, is constructed of triple-layer thermoformed polyethylene. Tough enough for day trips and fishing, this recreational canoe has three contoured seats, each with its own cup holder; a day hatch; a gear bungee; and a built-in insulated cooler/day well. It comes in red, green, and titanium, and has a 2.5 hp rating.

While this affordable little canoe isn’t designed for wild waters or rough use, it’s certainly geared up for relaxing times on a lake or calm river. Add a small motor and you have a fishing boat. The price makes it ideal if you’re looking to purchase more than one canoe.
